Details of facilities:.

Newcott is a cottage with an abundance of character, with many original features, particularly in the sitting room, where the original coombed wooden ceiling is said to be from a ship. Hooks remain in the ceiling where old cooking utensils used to hang.  There are comfortable chairs and there is an electric replica wood burning stove. A TV and DVD player is provided.  There is a selection of board games and books to while away the long winter evenings.

The walls in the cottage are thick and the windowsills are deep. The original tiny scullery is now the thick-walled entrance to the well-appointed kitchen with dining area, with superb views. The quality wall and base units and amenities contain everything you need for a great self-catering holiday.

There are two good-sized and charming bedrooms, one double, with memory foam mattress, which was the original ‘Ben End’ of the cottage and one twin, which was the original lower Byre.  Both rooms have blackout curtains/blinds to aid  sleep in  mid-summer when it gets darkish at midnight  and starts to get light again about  2am.

Bathroom, with bath and shower over, wash hand basin & toilet.

Outside is an area of garden, surrounded by fields. A garden bench with table and chairs commands stunning panoramic views.
